Tara Reid is an actress most known for her role in the film "American Pie" and "Big Lebowski".The actress was born in 1975 in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Her parents were both teachers and owned a day care center. She also has three siblings.

Reid's career in acting began early at the age of nine. She became a regular guest on "Child's Play", a game show, and also was in many commercials for products and companies including Jell-O, Crayola, and McDonalds.

During her teen years, Reid went to an alternative high school in Manhattan, the Professional Children's School. Amongst her peers were Christina Ricci, Macaulay Culkin and Sarah Michelle Gellar. At this time, Tara Reid was getting minor roles but in major TV series like All My Children Saved By the Bell: The New Class.

In 1997, Reid moved to Hollywood and made her transition into film. Her breakout role was in the cult hit "The Big Lebowski". In the same year, she also appeared in two other films which topped the box offices: Cruel Intentionsand Urban Legend. The 1999 film "American Pie" made Tara Reid a true success and took her career to new levels. She also gained media attention at this time for her relationship with MTV star Carson Daly.

Tara Reid is also known for a botched plastic surgery operation in 2006. The actress went public about the surgery which resulted in a deformity. She shortly after received more surgery with a new doctor in order to fix the problem and receive a "doughnut mastopexy".

Tara Reid has not acted in any major film since 2005 but she is still getting media attention. This time, it is for her topless photos which appeared in the January and February issues of Playboy magazine.
